Obituary: Cecil Alvin Austin, of Forney, passed away Sept. 20, 2014 in Dallas. He was born 19, 1923 in DeWitt, Ark. to James Henry and Hettie White Austin, both of whom preceded him in death along with his beloved wife, Rosa Austin. Cecil was a proud veteran of the US Army with 70th Infantry Division having served in WWII in Germany and France. He also worked with Dallas Power & Light as a supervisor for seven storerooms for Dallas area plants for 34 years until his retirement. He will be remembered as a good husband and father who loved the Lord and enjoyed being with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed Christmas time with his family and he felt that the more people packed in the house, the happier he was. He leaves to cherish his memory his children: one daughter, Vickey Rozell and husband Kenneth, of Forney; two sons: David Austin and wife of Garland, Rickey Austin and wife Debra of Waxahachie; 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild as well as other extended family members and a host of friends. service will be at 10:30am, , Sept. 23, 2014 at Chisholm Baptist Church, 1388 S. Hwy 205, Rockwall, 75032 with interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8pm, , Sept. 22, 2014 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. in Terrell. |

Obituary: Catherine Deady Austin beloved wife, mom, nana and teacher went to be with the Lord on , 28, 2011. Always young at heart, her energy and enthusiasm were unsurpassed and very easy to adopt. She was always an inspiration to many and always made it her mission to help and direct the youth around her. She was a teacher and librarian for both ECISD and SAISD, as well as, Music Director for St. Stephens and Holy Cross Episcopal churches. She absolutely adored every one of her students and they were all the joy of her life. Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, William and Beatrice Deady; daughters: Kimberly Austin Wanke and Candace Austin Schoenert and is survived by her beloved husband, David Austin; daughter, Michelle Austin; grandchildren: Kristen Wanke and Sean Schoenert; cousins: Julie and Louis Audia and Clairice Daily. Obituary: Betty Jo Austin, 83 went to be with her Lord and Savior on , 23, 2015. Services will be held , 26, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the chapel of Hampton Vaughan with Pastor Tom Rodgers of Grace Church officiating. Graveside services will immediately follow in Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on 25, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home. Betty was born in Wichita Falls, TX on 23, 1931 to Charles and Martha Clark. She graduated from Wichita Falls High School and went on to graduate from Draughons Business . She worked in the Civil Service field, employed by Social Security Administration, and retired in 1994. Throughout her life, Betty enjoyed traveling, playing bridge with friends, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a part of the local bridge club for many years, Bridge-A-Gap. She attended Grace Church for many years where she enjoyed going to bible study. She had the dearest heart, and cared for people unselfishly. Her sweet and caring spirit reflected in everything she did and she will be greatly missed. Betty is survived by her daughters, Sandra Fought and husband Danny, and Joanna Austin; a brother James B. Clark and wife Betty; granddaughters, Jennifer Collins and husband Tyson, Shalena Bost and Deanna Fought; three great grandchildren, Gage, Isabella, and Randall; her life- long best friend, Ivajean Angel, whom spent many hours by her side. She was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Austin. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support.
