Obituary: Watkin Ary, Jr., was born 30, 1940 to the union of the late Watkin Ary, Sr., and the late Ruby Lee Ary in Dubberly, Louisiana along with his two sisters and four brothers. In 1949, the Ary family moved to California, and Watkin continued his education, graduating from Pittsburg High School in Pittsburg, California (near the Bay area). In 1960, he joined and served in the United States Navy. In 1962, he met Helen Sue Neal whom he married in San Diego, CA on 2 of that year. To this union, two sons were born. In 1977, he and Sue moved to Plano, Texas where he began 24 1/2 years service for the United States Postal Service. In 1980, he and his family joined with the St. mark Missionary Baptist Church in McKinney, Tx where he served as a deacon and to the male chorus. In 1998, he united with Eternity Community Church and faithfully served as a deacon until his health began to fail. Watkin leaves to cherish his memories a wife Helen Sue Ary; two sons, Derrick Ary and wife, Dwanna, and Todd Ary;two grandsons Coderro and Joshua Ary; four brothers Jessie Ary and wife Evelyn, Pervis Ary and wife Erma, Edgar Ary, and James Ary; two sisters Martha Ann Williams and Ernestine Moore and husband Raymond; with a host of nieces, nephews, many in-laws, and friends. Preceded in death by his mother and father. |

Obituary: Monica Von Ary, 49, passed away peacefully at her home on 2, 2016 following a courageous fight with lung cancer. She was the oldest daughter of Gale Lair Pitre and Bill Ary and the fathers who raised her Robert Gilbert and Vernon Pitre. At the time of her passing she was employed with M.D. Anderson Cancer as an R.N. at the Head, Neck and Throat Clinic. She was previously employed at St. Marys Hospital. She is proceded in death by Eldret and Shirley Lair. She leaves to miss her forever, her parents Vernon and Gale Pitre and Robert Gilbert.; her 3 loving children: Ebony Ary of Houston, TX, Barry Brown of Dallas, TX, Brittney Brown (Theodore Opara) of El Paso, TX.; her beloved and devoted sister Michelle Jones (Cardell Jones) of Houston, TX; her 3 grandchildren: Zachary Linton, ZaMarri Garrett, Aria Opara, and a host of family and friends. Obituary: Billy Don Ary passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on 16, 2016, at the age of 83. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on 3, 1933 to Irene Bailey. At the age of 17, he joined the Navy and proudly served on the USS Nereus from 28, 1950 to 26, 1951. He was very proud of his time in the Navy. Billy enjoyed watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys, Texans, Houston Astros, playing chess, and watching old westerns. Dancing was another passion of his. In his early years, he was a certified Arthur Murray dance instructor. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed the time he spent with them. He attended the University of Houston and Lee . He worked for the Harris Country Hospital District as a programmer. his retirement, he worked in the flooring business, where he enjoyed meeting people and making new friends. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Barbara Ann LaLande Ary, his children JoLynn Alvarez and husband Joe, Vicki Patton and husband, Cecil, their Mother, Ruby Jo Black, Dawn (Sissy) Bevers and husband, David, Angelisa (DeeDee) McNeil and husband, Jeff, Marceene (Marcy) Coonradt , and husband Ken, Melissa (Missy) Holt and husband Don, and son, Billy (Michael) Ary and wife, Melody, and their mother Lovana LaFarnara, and Kimberley (Kimmie) Heinze and husband, Larry. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Billy is preceded in death by his parents, his identical twin brother, Bobby Jack, his grandson, Aaron Thomas, and his granddaughter, Samantha Day. |
