Obituary: Emil Roy Accampo, 85, of Taylors, SC, formerly of Memphis, passed away at his sons home in Taylors on , 31, 2016. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was retired from the United States Navy. He was a member of Community Baptist Church in Greer, SC and was a former member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Memphis. He also had a lifelong love of learning. Mr. Accampo is survived by his dear wife of 61 years, Joyce Hazel Stiles Accampo; three sons, Dominic R. Accampo of Memphis, Anthony D. Accampo of Oakland, TN and Stephen G. Accampo of Taylors, SC; one daughter, Linda J. Accampo also of Memphis; nineteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. services will be at 2 p.m. , 5 at Memphis and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N.
