Obituary: Jerome K. Altshuler of Prescott, Arizona, died at home on 25, 2017.

Jerry was born in 1922 to David Altshuler and Lena Shelubow Altshuler in Chicago, Illinois. He received his BS from Chicago Teachers , his MS in math from USC, and earned a post-graduate degree from the University of Cambridge in England. He served two and a half years in the 66th Artillery Division in France, Germany and Austria during World War II and finished his Army service at the University of Cambridge with the eminent historian and philosopher, Lord Bertrand Russell as his tutor. Following the war, Jerry lived in California where he met and married Roselyn Weitzenhoffer in 1947. moved to Oklahoma where Jerry became President and CEO of Equitable Factors Ltd. until 1987. He was a Professor of Finance at Oklahoma City University from 1981-1996. He traveled extensively for OCU, teaching international business and finance in numerous Asian countries. During that time, he also served as a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee at Allied Oklahoma Bank from 1978-1989. Following his retirement from OCU, Jerry was hired by FINRA as an arbitrator for securities disputes until 2012. being a widower for four years, Jerry married local designer, Judy Masters in 1991 in Edmond, Oklahoma and the couple relocated to Prescott, Arizona in 2010. He is survived by his wife, Judy, his sons Michael and wife Patricia of Edmond, Laurence and wife Claudia of Tulsa, and Kenneth and wife Lynda Doyle of South Freeport, Maine; his granddaughters Elizabeth (David) Bard and Katie Altshuler of Edmond, Genvieve (Justin) Eskridge of Tulsa, Vanessa Altshuler of Los Angeles, and Amy Altshuler Doyle (Preston Noon) of South Freeport, Maine, Chelsea Altshuler-Doyle of Falmouth, Maine, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Roselyn, his four brothers Art, Joe, Leo and Sam and by nephews David and Arnold.

A Celebration of Life will be held , 1, 2017 at 1:00pm at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper in Oklahoma City. Memorials may be made to The Alzheimers Foundation, Hospice, or your charity of choice.

Obituary: Hoyt E. Altman went to be with the Lord and Savior Aug. 31, 2010. Hoyt was born Sept. 9, 1925 in Lubbock, Texas. He served honorably in the US Navy, Seaman 1st Class. Hoyt was an amazing golfer with 11 holes in one during his lifetime. He has many golfing buddies who will assuredly miss his game, friendship and wit. He was a government employee for 28 years and was GSA Field Manager for many years prior to his retirement.

His children, grandchildren and family were the most precious things in his life. Hoyt is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Martin Deamos and Sally Francis Altman and sister, Vivian Hill. He is survived by 4 children: son, Dale Altman; daughters, Janice Willis, Vickie McKinney, Sherry Snow and husband Hank Snow; grandchildren: Chris and wife Jeannette Willis, Robyn and husband Tom Champ, Tajuanna and husband Gerry McElyea, Martin and Elva Altman and Kayla Snow: 3 sisters; Mildred Thomkinson & Jackie Welsh of Idaho & Janelle Gatlin of Texas. Hoyt was blessed with 8 great grandchildren who he adored and loved to play with. He also has a set of twins on the way and we know he will be rejoicing with us the day they are born.

We all love and miss him so much, but know he is in a better place in the arms of Jesus Christ. Services will be , 7, 10:00 a.m. at Baggerley in Edmond, OK.

Obituary: A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on , 18th, 2016 at noon at St. Mark Catholic Church in Pryor with Father Desmond Okpogba officiating. Sylvester Altebaumer, or Gus to his many friends and family, was born on 25th, 1941 in Estella, OK, to William and Lottie a (Hildebrand) Altebaumer. He grew up with two brothers and one sister, and attended school at Sacred Heart Academy in Vinita and the Catholic School in Chickasha then entered the US Navy, proudly serving his country from 1961 until 1964 aboard the USS Mount Baker. Upon his honorable discharge, he returned to Vinita, and married the love of his life and his best friend, Anita Maxine Hopkins at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Vinita on 6th, 1965.Together, they enjoyed all life had to offer and raised two sons and two daughters, Angela, Loyd, Samuel, and Lori. Gus was never one to sit idly by. He worked as a truck driver for Allied Van Lines in Pryor, then moving to Vinita, Oklahoma worked for the Will Rogers Turnpike, Oklahoma Highway Patrol as Dispatcher, while attending NEO A&M and obtained his criminal justice degree. The family lived on a farm, complete with a cow, chickens and assorted livestock. Gus preferred gardening to animal husbandry, so the family moved into Vinita in 1972. In 1974, they moved to Blackwell, OK to work for the Blackwell Police Department as Dispatcher and Police Officer. Then to Watonga, where Gus began a second military career in the National Guard. In 1982 he moved back to Vinita where he was a local DJ under the name Gus Baumer. Gus loved people. He devoted 15 years of his life as the Emergency Management Director and Flood Plain Manager for Craig , and a storm spotter for Kay and Craig , OK. He was always striking up a conversation with someone, he knew no strangers! He was very active in Boy Scouts everywhere he went, spending quality time with his sons. For 25 years, he became the MC of Vinitas Oktoberfest. He had a wonderful sense of humor and could tease anyone into a better mood. Gus liked to go fishing with his boys! His wife, children, and grandchildren were everything to Gus. He loved them dearly! In 2006, the family made their last move to Cookson, OK. Gus worked for the CN as an electrician, wiring up their office buildings. He volunteered at Holy Ghost fixing the boilers and mowing the yards. He was an active member of the Cookson Senior Citizens where he helped in any capacity he could, and always kept company with his beloved Maxine at his side. He was a faithful member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church until moving to Cookson where he attended St. John the Evangelist and ST. Brigid when in Tahlequah. Gus began to have many health issues, and the Lord called this fun loving, friendly, friend of the people home from his labors on 10th, 2016 in Tulsa, OK with those he loved most close by his side. Gus was 75 years old. He will be greatly missed.
Gus is preceded in death by his mother, father, and his brothers, JW and Freeman Altebaumer and one grandson Khason Bonine.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 51 years, Anita Maxine of the home in Cookson. He also leaves his children, Angela Dixon of Adair, OK, Loyd William and wife Kennah Altebaumer of Pryor, OK, Samuel Altebaumer and wife Teresa of Strang, OK, and Lori Ann Bonine and husband Kenny of Milan, MO. He leaves one sister, Ethel Spaulding and husband Don of Vinita, OK. Gus lives on in his grand and great grandchildren, Ryan Dixon, Meghan Blackfox, Cory Allen Hopkins, Allison Sivak, Nickolas Altebaumer, Anthony Altebaumer, Samantha Kiddy, Troy Brock, Cassandra Hutchison, Hannah Wyum, Jeremy Landers and Kendyll Bonine. His great grandchildren include, Gabe Blackfox, Trinity Frazier, Owen King, Olivia Kiddy, Alexandra Altebaumer, Aiden Brown, and Angel Sowers, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.

Obituary: Lillian Lorraine Nana Alt was born 23, 1925, in Henryetta, OK, to Asa & Ethel Lee. Lillian married the love of her life, Karl Henry Alt; a marriage that would produce two daughters, Karlene Elder and Kristi Leveridge.
Lillian always had a beautiful smile and was entirely devoted to her family. She was helpful to everyone, very loving and had many friends. She was known as Nana by all the grandchildren. To Lillian the grandkids were Sugar-babies, Lorri, Benjamin, Kristian, and Chelsea. She was very involved in tap dancing, square dancing, tennis, volunteering for meals on wheels, family and friends were a large part of her life. She loved to cook and being involved with Chapel Hill UMC. The world lost a remarkable woman and she will be missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Karl Henry Boompa Alt and parents. She leaves her daughters Karlene L. Elder and husband David; daughter Kristi Leveridge and husband Marc; grandchildren Barbara Lorraine Dyner and husband Alex, Benjamin Asa Alt Elder and wife Emily, Kristian Leveridge and Chelsea (Leveridge) Patton and husband John. She was also survived by her great-grandchildren Asa Elder, Norah Elder, Benjamin Taylor Elder, Charlie Dyner, Caroline Lorraine Dyner, Cordell Marcus Patton and Jordyn Claire Patton.
