Obituary: Charmaine Rose Imbrigulia Aromy, age 70, passed away on , 14, 2009 at River Regions Hospice in River Ridge, LA. She was a loving, strong and courageous woman who fought a very long battle against Glioblastomia, brain cancer. She surprised all of her doctors since they only gave her a year to live. She fought a hard battle for which she lived over two years fighting for her life and to be with her family and friends as long as possible. Throughout her life she had many trials and tribulations but she fought through all of them with tremendous courage, strength and determination. she became ill her motto was To live each day as if it were your last. Mrs. Aromy was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of St. Rose, LA. Wife of the late Richard J. Aromy, Sr. Preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Irma Imbrigulia. Loving mother of three children, Richard J. Aromy, Jr. (Nola) Kenner, LA, Denise M. Aromy Gresse (Eric) St. Rose, LA and Kyle M. Aromy (Stephanie) Katy, TX. Grandmother of Jennifer, Danielle and Mark Gresse, Emily, Katie, Jacob, Kailee, Tyler and Hailey Aromy; Step grandmother of Ashley Thomas and Heather Thomas Jones and step great grandmother of Eleanore Jones. She is also survived by many family and friends that adored her. She worked for Cadillac of Metairie for over 17 years until she was diagnosed with cancer. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass at Leitz-Eagan Chapel, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on morning, 18, 2009 at 10:30 AM. Obituary: Roberta Council Arnoult, a resident of New Orleans died 3, 2015 at age 94. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years Shelby F. Arnoult, her son-in-law Wendel B. Fink, III and John Fritts by first marriage. She was the daughter of the late William Warren and Roberta Barton Council. She is survived by her loving daughter Roberta A. Phillips and son-in-law Rick Phillips. Also survived by Al Fink (Raygan), Rebecca Frere (Tony), Tracey Sipe, Johanna Phillips their 14 children and 3 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was an avid bowler and duplicate bridge player where she achieved the status of Life Master. Most of all she loved her Saints and was a die hard fan. She was a loving and devoted mother and wife and lived a long interesting life. Obituary: Arnone, Josephine Phyne Rae Miceli, 72, a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Greenwell Springs, passed away on , 19, 2012. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Phyne loved to quilt and sew. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and a 40 year member of the Louisiana Volunteers for Family and Community. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Vincent J. Arnone; father Sam J. Miceli; children: Michael Arnone, Jerrell and Teresa Arnone, Paul David Arnone, Donna and Alan Montagnino, and Randall and Dena Arnone; grandchildren: Nicholas Wroten, Justin Arnone, Vincent Joseph and Alaina Montagnino, Joshua Arnone, and Brock and Cade Primeaux; and sister Mary Lee Aycock. She is preceded in death by her mother Mamie Carona Miceli. Visitation will be held on , 22, 2012 at Greenoaks from 5pm until 9pm and continuing on , 23, 2012 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church from 9:30am until a mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am. He served in various capacities at O.L.P.H. in Belle Chasse, St. Gabriel, St. Cletus, St. Benilde, Holy Name of Mary, St. Stephens, Our Lady of Lourdes in Violet, St. Bernard, St. Rita of Cascia, and Assistant Director of Pastoral Formation and Instructor of Pastoral Theology at Notre Dame Seminary. He was a member of The Knights of the Holy Sepulchre, Knights of Columbus, served as spiritual director of T.E.C., and a spiritual advisor to all. He was also a member of the Krewe of Endymion and the Algiers Irish Rebels. Some of Fr. John’s favorite pastimes are traveling, fine dining, festivals, the beach, and an occasional drop in by your house at dinner time. In the words of Fr. John, “Be happy and live life to the fullest.” Relatives, friends, and religious are invited to attend a visitation in the Chapel of Notre Dame Seminary, 2901 So. Carrollton Ave. on , May 9, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The visitation will continue on , May 10, 2017 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rita of Cascia Catholic Church, 7100 Jefferson Highway in Harahan. Obituary: Anthony Joseph Arnone, Jr was a caring husband, proud father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all. He went to his heavenly home on , 7, 2021 at the age of 86. He was born on 14, 1935 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Anthony Arnone Sr and Mary Anzalone Arnone. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Caroline Scalia Arnone, his loving children David Arnone, Lisa Arnone Jackson (Danny), and Suzanne Arnone Smith (Scott) and 7 grand children, Brittany Jackson Kimble (Stephan), Brooke Jackson, Breanne Jackson, Madison Jackson, Austin Smith, Cameron Smith, and Kristen Arnone Gaudet (Johnathan) and 6 great grand children Parker Roubique, Jackson Ketchum, Baylor Kimble, Brinley Lamartinere, Jensen and Saylor Gaudet. He is also survived by his siblings Joseph Arnone (Diana), Rosalie Arnone Lato(Tony), and Ronnie Arnone and his brother-in-law Tommy Boutwell and sister-in-law Virginia Boutwell and a host of nieces and nephews. Anthony is preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Mary Arnone. graduating from Independence High School, he served our country in the US Army. He married his sweetheart and began his career in customer service. He worked at A&P Grocery for 20 years as well as the plumbing industry. He is most known for his life long career as the manager of Sciaras Skate for the past 48 years and co-owner of Carols Flowers for the past 40 years. For it is through these two careers that he was able to do what he truly loved to do which is to make people smile. Anthony was able to touch so many lives at the skating rink where he served as a positive role model to many children. He loved assisting his wife at Carols by delivering flowers within our community. Anthony made friends wherever he went. He was a rare individual who was genuinely interested in getting to know people. Once he knew you, he considered you a friend from that moment foward. Anthony believed you never went anywhere empty handed. His generosity was endless. His smile and laughter was contagious. He was a gentlemen of all gentlemen who loved his family, his country, and God above all. His family would like to thank the doctors and staff at North Oaks Hospital, North Oaks Hospice, and The Richard Murphy Hospice House for caring for him during his time of need. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely and Son in Hammond, 2000 N Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on , 10, 2021, beginning at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will continue the following day, , 11, 2021 at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM. A funeral mass will be held following the visitation at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 600 North Oak Street, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, at 11:00 am.
