Charlotte was born 24, 1940 in Shreveport, LA and lived there until moving to Quitman, TX in 2009. She was retired from being a surgery technician at Willis-Knighton Hospital in Shreveport, LA. She had completed becoming a certified master gardener this year. Obituary: Sheridan Eugene "Fish" Armentrout, age 60 took his final ride into the sunset on 29,2015. Beloved son of the late Meredith E. Armentrout and Beverly Marie Armentrout. Brother of Martin W. Armentrout and the late Alan F. Armentrout. Brother-in-law to Lorelei S. Armentrout and devoted Uncle to Evan M. Armentrout and Gabrielle M. Armentrout. Also, survived by a host of aunts, uncles and cousins in the Virginia area. Fish was a native of Covington, Virginia and called Metairie, Louisiana his home for over 50 years. Fish worked at the Dixie Brewery in New Orleans for over 20 years. He was a member of the Crescent City Brew Club and The Bayou Bounty Hunters Cowboy Action Shootin Society, where he was affectionately known as "Crunch Hardtack". He was a graduate of East Jefferson High School in 1972. Mr. Armentrout was an avid gun collector and a proud member of the NRA. He adored his cats, and celebrated his German Heritage by his devotion to the brewing and consumption of Ales and Lagers. Obituary: NEW IBERIA - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Simon J. Armentor, 82, at 9:30 am , 20, 2010 at Evangeline with Father Jared Suire, a family friend, as the Celebrant. Interment will be held at Memorial Park . A gathering of family and friends will be held at Evangeline , 314 E. St. Peter St. in New Iberia from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with the rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on until service time. A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Armentor passed away at 8:30 am on , 17, 2010, at Lafayette General Hospital. Born on 10, 1928, Mr. Armentor worked as a heavy machine operator for 36 years. He also worked at Cote Blanche Salt mine. He served in the Army during the Korean War. When he retired he enjoyed growing and selling okra and planting his garden. He and Joyce were members of CFMA and enjoyed attending all of the Chapter festivals. He really enjoyed attending his grandchildrens visits and activities. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Joyce LeBlanc Armentor, daughter, Janet Gary and husband Darryl of Coteau, son Scott of New Iberia; brothers Lloyd Armentor and wife, Anna Lee, of Coteau, Donald Armentor and wife, of Coteau; sister Lena Fitch of Jeanerette; 3 grandchildren, Tiffany Gary of Shreveport, Laurie Lewis and husband Ben of Alexandria and Jakob Armentor of Iota and family friend Jennifer Guillory. Obituary: NEW IBERIA - services celebrating the life of Marguerite Citrano Armentor, age 87, will be held at 10:00 am , 30, 2016 at Evangeline . Fr. Alexander Albert will officiate. Marguerite will be laid to rest at Memorial Park . A gathering of family and friends will be held at Evangeline on from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, with the Rosary being recited at 6:00 pm. Visiting will resume on from 8:00 am until time of services. Marguerite was born 9, 1929 in New Iberia to the late Joseph Citrano and the late Lena Governale Citrano and was one of five children. She passed away peacefully on , 27, 2016 at Encore care and Rehabilitation in Crowley. And just as her passing was peaceful, her life lived was the same. She had a love for all animals, especially her horses, and enjoyed her time spent tending to her yard and flowers. But it was the time spent with her children and grandchildren that meant most to her. She leaves behind many fond memories that will be cherished always.
